patzicia is a small town in the middle of guatemala. it is a area made up of farms and fields of corn and beans as far as the eye can see. the fields are made up of furtile volcanic soil, but the town has no access to running water, making successful large-scale farming difficult.
getting to know guillermo and his family, it was clear they were special. they wanted help their community. we helped them build homes for their adult daughters, and in exchange, they dedicated their land for to be used to help the community, through job creation and a training center.
